A guide to LanguageCert
LanguageCert
About

LanguageCert and IELTS ( International English Language Testing System) are similar in that they are both new-generation language qualification certificates originating from the United Kingdom.
IESOL ( the test Onboard is offering) has undergone a rigorous review by the quality assessment organisation designated by the UK government – UK RVARIC. It has received authorization from the UK Visa and Immigration Centre (UKVI) and is included in the secure English Testing (SELT) framework.
The test results from Language Cert align perfectly with the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ( CEFR ) and are recognized by thousands of universities worldwide with LanguageCert exam scores; individuals can directly participate in language courses at overseas universities or enter formal university programs.
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR )
The CEFR serves as a widely recognized global framework for learning and assessment, enabling the comparison of language curricula, syllabuses, and exams. It supports assessment providers, publishers, teachers, learners, and other stakeholders in establishing consistent content and performance standards in the context of language exams.

LanguageCert Levels
The table on the side illustrates how the CEFR can be utilized to compare the levels of LanguageCert exams with those of IELTS.
Language learners are classified into three overarching levels, further subdivided into two sublevels: Basic Users (A1, A2), Independent Users (B1, B2), and Proficient Users (C1, C2).
All LanguageCert exams are designed per the CEFR levels. To meet these standards, exam material writers adhere to the highest international benchmarks, drawing upon their extensive expertise, knowledge, and understanding of the CEFR.
